Join Sy Safransky, editor and founder of The Sun magazine, and Sun staff for a reading and reception to celebrate the publication of The Sun’s new volume of Sunbeams,Paper Lanterns: More Quotations from the Back Pages of The Sun. This provocative collection of quotes takes you on a journey through innocence and experience, love and loss, disillusionment and awakening. Along the way you’ll find words that inspire as well as challenge; that celebrate the beauty around us without ignoring the injustices in our midst.
The event will take place on Friday, September 10, from 6:30 to 8:00 P.M. at Flyleaf Books. Wine and light refreshments will be served. Admission is free, and seating is limited. We hope you’ll join us.
